Nintendo Talk Community Guidelines
Welcome to Nintendo Talk, the friendly corner of the internet where fans of Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, and all things Nintendo come together. To keep our community safe, fun, and welcoming for everyone, please follow these guidelines.
1. Be Respectful
- Treat all members with kindness, even if you disagree.
- No personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory remarks.
- Remember: we debate games, not people.
2. Keep It Friendly & Fun
- This is a community for fans of all ages.
- Avoid excessive swearing, NSFW content, or anything that could make the forum feel hostile.
- Lighthearted humor is welcome, but don’t let it cross into trolling.
3. Stay On-Topic
- Post in the right forum section (e.g., Mario threads go in the Mario forum, not Zelda).
- If you’re unsure, use General Discussion or ask a moderator.
- Refrain from derailing conversations, respect the thread’s topic.
4. No Spam or Self-Promotion
- Don’t flood threads with repetitive posts, ads, or unrelated links.
- Promoting your content is fine if it adds value (e.g., sharing your Nintendo fan art in the Creative Corner).
- Any commercial promotion must be approved by staff first.
5. Respect Copyright & Fair Use
- Don’t share pirated games, ROMs, emulators, or illegal download links.
- Screenshots, fan art, and official trailers are fine, but credit original creators when sharing their work.
6. Keep Usernames & Avatars Clean
- No offensive usernames, slurs, or shock images.
- Avatars should be safe for work and not impersonate other members.
7. Use Spoiler Tags 
- New game releases? Always hide spoilers with

[spoiler] tags [/spoiler] - Be considerate of others who haven’t played yet.
8. Listen to Moderators
- If a moderator asks you to stop something, respect their decision.
- Repeated issues may lead to warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans.
9. Protect Your Privacy
- Don’t share personal information like your full name, address, or passwords.
- Keep discussions safe for all members.
10. Have Fun & Share Your Passion
- Post your collections, favorite memories, fan art, and game tips.
- Join discussions, start threads, and make friends.
- Remember: we’re all here because we love Nintendo.
